Hebei Yingde Awarded the 2023 National Green Factory
Hebei Yingde Gases Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred
to as Hebei Yingde), a subsidiary of Yingde Gases, was awarded the title as
“2023 Green Factory” by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of
the People's Republic of China in November 2023. This is the second time for
Yingde Gases to win the title after Anyang Zhongying being selected as “2022
Green Factory". The honor marks that the company's green manufacturing
level and low-carbon practices have once again been recognized by the national authority.
The Green Manufacturing List is part of a larger effort to build a green
manufacturing ecosystem in China and to implement green manufacturing practices
across the board. It helps industrial sectors achieve the goals of Carbon Peaking
& Carbon Neutrality, in turn realizing the transformation and upgrading of
China’s manufacturing industry. As the main implementer of green manufacturing
practices, green factories have provided strong impetus in the campaign to
achieve carbon peaking and total carbon neutrality.
Under
the guidance of China’s Carbon-Peaking, Carbon-Neutral Initiative – with
cleaner production and development of a circular economy as the primary focus –
Hebei Yingde has become a proactive innovator in green-energy technology. By
spearheading energy conservation projects for compressors and water pumps, the
company has achieved a major indirect reduction in carbon emissions. And by
optimizing technical operations to ensure air separation equipment maintains optimal
performance levels, Hebei Yingde has also seen a significant improvement in
aggregate unit consumption in its production facilities. Concurrently, Hebei
Yingde is also advancing an entire series of improvement projects, including
conserving energy in oxygen compressors and recycling contaminated argon, as
well as plans to move forward on a project to recycle storage tank flash-gas.
Once all the above improvements are completed, the company is expecting another
major reduction in indirect carbon emissions.
Fang

achieving our goal to lower carbon emissions per unit of revenue 30% by the
year 2030. With the technological empowerment to establish a green
manufacturing ecosystem that involves resource consolidation, cleaner production
practices and waste reduction, we are striving to make contributions for
industrial transformation and upgrade, as well as the Carbon-Peaking,
Carbon-Neutral Initiative.”
